All,
Slowly but surely working on a True Heroes Apache Longbow. I boofed a little during this process. Nice to know others boof too. It really does help. My youngest daughter has already claimed it for her Marauder Valkyries when I'm done. I received the dragonfly sticker sheets in the mail last weekend. Woohoo! Bought 2 just in case. Didn't realize they are not precut. But it just means I take things slowly as I'm tired of the bloodletting via exacto knives. So here's my question: The cockpit is all clear plastic. Originally, I was pretty okay with that. Now, I'm second guessing that. What's the opinion on masking the windows and painting the "frame" of the cockpit? |

If you can paint the frame, it would just make it that much more detailed. The camo is fantastic.

If you are able to paint the frame, you should. Adds a whole new level of coolness.

That's cool! When did they mold the canopy like that? Mine was just plain, I had to tape and paint it to make an accurate looking canopy.

Shouldn't be that hard with the raised edges on the canopy. The hardest part will be deciding on whether you paint the frame green or black!
Great job on that camo. Jason |

I really like the camo, regarding the cockpit I'd leave it be. If the camo itself is taking a while the detailing on the canopy will take even longer and that's less time spent on the battlefield where the vehicle is needed most.

How many coats of clear coat should I spray on the painted cockpit? |
