Still a work in progress, but this is a custom of the 1988 Blizzard. One of my favorites as a kid. Using the Arctic MTF parts I'm doing my best to represent Blizzard. The only thing I didn't care for on the 1988 version was that large marshmellow top for a helmet. But the card art had the best looking helmet ever. So I am working hard to replicate that helmet. Still got some updated parts and vintage parts coming in the mail. But until then, check him out and give me some constructive criticism.

I haven't tried it yet, but I had the same thought to make a custom Blizzard. (I'm holding out hope for an official Blizzard from the collectors club.) It looks pretty good so far, I was looking at the same vest. Get some ammo mag pouches for the legs and I think it could use some kind of belt, but I'm not sure what would fit over the vest. Can't wait to see it finished, so I can see if I want to go ahead with the same thing.

I really dig your anti-marshmallow arctic combat helmet.
As for constructive feedback, I think he needs a black belt of some kind. Maybe paint the front pants pockets black too, but I don't believe you need to copy the vintage exactly here. He looks good modernized. |

Nice, less bulky than my custom.

Only things I might change is paint the feet brown and either put some black pouches on the thighs or paint the black on the thighs white and paint the front pockets black.
Nice mod on the helmet.

I agree totally with you guys. I will definitely be adding more pouches and other accessories. I am working in smoothing out the edges of the helmet. And a little more paint will be added. Do you guys think I should use a MTF head or is there another head that may resemble the character better?
