Thanks! Still a WIP tho. I was working the torso with a dremmel yesterday
lol,the sculpt is great! The scale&paint apps are what kill it. I FINALLY got my hands on a SDCC baroness&ravage figure for a ok price. she'll get the same treatment. Probably not right away tho. all these new waves of Marvel Legends,The Walking Dead, and Aliens figures heads&accessories have been keeping me busy lately. I'm literally working on a few dozen at once.

This is a great custom, but I don't think it's the 5% shrink that does it. I don't think there is really a certain scale when it comes to head sizes. There are many people with small frames that have bigger heads and vice versa.
What does it for me is your painting skills. The skin tone alone looks like the skin tone of a baby doll. And the wash/dry brush on the hair is amazing! Not to sound hypocritical about the size of head sculpts, I am very excited that you're doing a 5% shrink on the SDCC Baroness head sculpt! You should definitely look into selling copies and even painted head sculpts! Jason |

lol,thanks.
I realize that the paint apps on the head I painted are a little cleaner then factory, but I feel that a direct copy would've still looked too big. I apreciate it tho Here's 5% shrunk SDCC Baroness. I haven't painted one yet, this is a masterpiece. I only paint copies... So yes, there are copies of 5% shrunk Bombstrike. I'll post up one when I get a chance. I'm still working on Bombstrike, and I got her a new accessory too.

I think you may be confused. That is an actual FSS Bombstrike action figure. He made a custom head by reducing the FSS Bombstrike head by 5% and then painting it. So, the body is a "factory" action figure w/ "factory" paintjob, and the head is a custom sculpt with custom paint.

I tried my hand at casting for a while and it just got too time and space consuming. I do have a question though. I hear all the time about shrinking molds or casts, and despite having a decent grasp on at least the concepts of most customizing techniques, I don't understand how this works at all. Can you give a quick layman's rundown of how you do it, if you don't mind? I'm fascinated by the idea.
