That sounds great for walls especially! I'm going for the flat look (..this gives that cement look) & the gritty feel (..is another plus; cement walls has a gritty feel to them; like reel military cement barricades)! I will buy that spray paint that you used; and give it a whirl! Thanks for sharing this information once again!

wonder if these would work with those chain bases? I have some of those and these are a hell of a lot cheaper!!

I don't have any of the chain bases (I drool over them all the time) but I really don't think they would work very well together. The scale of these verses the smaller chain base, plus the chain bases have such great detail in them.

They are Provent 14 in. x 4 ft. Rafter Vents by ADO Products. They only cost slightly more than two dollars at the Home Depot.

In case anyone in interested, I purchased two Generic wrestling ring side barrier sets for walls as well and they look pretty goo I'll post pics when I get a chance
