I have thought, pondered, dreamed of making a fully RC LCAC for several years. It should be easy enough the biggest hold up for me is the cost. I would do Styrene for better weight material. I think you would need 4 gas powered RC airplane engines 2 one on either side to push air down and two to make use as the rear fans. The RC controls should actually be fairly easy. The only real decision is whether you were gong to make the rear fans pivot or use rudder fins. You would want to set up the throttle on the rear fans to be synced together and make the lift fans have independent throttles so you could adjust for load. As I said the cost is the prohibitive aspect of the build. probably over $500 in RC parts alone and that is figuring it conservatively.

They have drones large enough to mount underneath to got your lift ya know. Air intakes need to be made possibly however those can be hidden under the superstructure. You'd also be remote controlled in one shot. |

Great looking project. I have this one on my to do list eventually. Gonna need a big shelf for that bad boy!! Really impressive.
