Here are some customs I'm working on. I'm looking for some advice on finishing them.
First up is Zarana. The head is from the 2005 comic pack. Its a little big but I think it works. The skin tone is different then what I used for her chest and arms. I'm not sure if I should repaint the head or try to match it. Side note: I have slight color blindness and similar colors are hard to tell apart. If you know what the color is let me know. recipe: Head = 2005 comic pack Zarana Torso and upper arms = Lady Jaye Lower arms and upper legs = Scarlett Lower legs = Baroness Botts and gloves accents = green stuff Next I have an easy Jinx made from my left over Scarlett and Lady Jaye parts. I always perfered her in black in the DDP series. Red is for the Red Ninjas. The masked head is obviously too big and the Scarlett head is just Scarlett with black hair. I'm looking to trade for the 2004 Valor Vs. Venom Agent Jinx head if someone has one. Recipe: Masked Head = 1987 Jinx Torso, upper arms, unmasked head = Scarlett Legs = Lady Jaye This is a EASY Quick Custom/ head swap of Billy, Cobra Commander's son. Recipe: Body = Snake Eyes from TRU Red Ninja 5-pack Head = Breaker w/ green stuff eye patch Last edited by KjK; 03-23-2009 at 03:28 AM.. |

Here is my version of Blizzard.
I took a bunch of liberties on this one. I always hated that mask with the original so I wanted to come up with something different. This is kinda inspired by the 2002 V Vs. V Frostbite. Recipe: Head = Beachhead single carded Body = Arctic Snake Eyes I had to make an Ice Viper once the Indiana Jones German Motorcycle trooper went on clearance. I still can't decide if I want to add orange or not. Recipe: Head = Storm Shadow dremeled down Lower arms = Cobra Commander Torso, upper arms, legs = Snake Eyes |

Here is my Footloose. He's a desert trooper because I didn't want to do the camo pattern. He looks coool with Dusty, Leatherneck and resolute Duke.
Recipe: Body = Tiger Force Flint Head, helmet = 21st century toys I posted Low Light before but didn't have the Beach Head vest. It looks cool black but I may paint it gray. |

I agree, the best of them is Blizzard!
the others look good too. About Jinx: what about a S. Shadow or Firefly head for the masked version? I'm not sure about the unmasked head (aside of the VvV head which is great)... About Zaranna: Looks good...except the head. To be absobrutally honest, i would go for a complete new head. Or give this one some kind of make up, because it looks like a guy. Maybe StarWars Mc Quarrie Skywalker hero head could work. She has a though look, and short hair and i think it would work really well. I've tested on the Scarlett Pilot, and the size is perfect, tho you might need to rework the neck so it could fit thight. |
