Any Idea how that gun will work with an ARAH style hand? I foresee a lot of broken thumbs.

He could either cast just that lower arm, or the whole body in less brittle plastic. ME Joes are made or more giving plastic.

I'm working on designing the hand specifically for this gun.

The manufacturer I was planning on using doesn't use 3D models for their production process though, they want to sculpt a prototype. I will either have to find a new manufacturer or not use the 3D model. Here's some work in progress pictures of the figure model anyway. The model is not my work.

Not loving the initial renders... they look a bit too much like 25th or the JvC designs. I think the appeal would be increased if this figure was based a little bit more on an ARAH "buck" |

Maybe it's the angles. The model matches the sculpt sheet pretty closely. And the sculpt sheet was based off of ARAH designs. After it was completed I actually overlaid the sculpt sheet over the Hit N Run sculpt sheet and the proportions matched up. I'm pretty picky about looking ARAH too.

Perhaps you should see if you can find a copy of the Original Scarlett's sculpt sheet. That may make a difference (but I dont remember any real size differences in my old figures). Great work on the rendering thus far.

I've never seen sculpture sheets for female figures. That is something I would love to see. I've attached what I was talking about earlier. It's a little hard to see but apart from being shorter and thinner the proportions are pretty much the same. I wanted to improve upon the ARAH design a bit while staying true to the basics. So I've added swivel wrists and ankles. And also made the female figure a little bit more curvy with smaller shoulder joints than ARAH female figures.

I agree with you on the more feminine sculpt and smaller joints. I don't think a more female sized sculpt would look bad unless you put it side-to-side with vintage Scarlett or Cover Girl and then that would defeat the purpose. I'll take one when they are done, no problem.
