Hello Everyone,
Here is an update to the Destroyer build. I have finished the Bridge Controls. I added the helm wheel and the throttle to the Helm station. Here is the C.I.C. Room. The bridge island is removable to access the CIC. There are 6 seated computer stations, Data computer storage, TV monitor stations and Tactical Display island. I am working the Engineering Room. I have one wall done and now working on the diesel turbine engine. Here is an X-ray view of the three playset areas of the ship. Until next time...

This is fantastic. And way to keep it going. The foam core mockup was a great proof of concept. I'm excited to see this progress. So glad you have a hangar and flight deck. I bet a Locust could also fit in there? You'll need to print a tiny champagne bottle for the launching ceremony
If you're interested in suggestions: A bunk room, a place to store a awe striker or small vehicle? That might be crazy but I've sketched up ideas for making a WASP class amphibious assault ship and always thought a well deck would be desirable on a JOE ship. Great work!

This is a amazing project, and I love that you picked it back up using your foamcore model to transition to 3d modeling. Really excited to see this unfold

The CIC room is really impressive! Actually, the whole thing is, but the CIC just happens to have grabbed me the most.
Props on a great job so far! |
