Sorry this isn't the best pic in the world. It was a rush job last night to show a buddy on the banthaskull boards.
Upper body is all black SE, legs are comic pack FF, lower arms are Rock n Roll, Viper Vest, SW EE Mando head with comic FF goggles. Much paint is needed, this was a test fitting. The upper arms will be modded to accommodate the gastly 'duke arm' syndrome. The vest will have some paint added, eliminating the red, and the cobra 'belt' buckle will be shaved down. Custom head gear and pack is en route, as is custom weaponry w/slings. Comments, questions, gripes? Dre Last edited by DarthDre758; 10-24-2008 at 10:00 PM.. |

Guess I shoulda fleshed that out a bit too?
It's a gift for a guy over on the BS boards. He's a Iraq vet who was wounded and left very broken. He's a great guy, and deserves more than just some stupid action figure. But I know it'll lift his soul some, so I'm forging on. So...it's not really any Joe character per se. Dre |

Little more work on this guy last night. Trimmed the SE upper arms to get better movement on the forearms. Performed the hot glue/Vaseline trick on the head flawlessly. Painted the rolled sleeves on the forearms, and painted the crotch area to match the FF legs used and sealed them both.
I'll get pics up tonight. Oh, and I switched to the comic pack FF vest and belt combo. Sits better on the torso. Dre |
