It measures exactly 14 1/2 inches long X 12 inches wide at wingtips. It really isnt bad once you start modding and see it in Stealth Radar Absorbing Black. I think when this build is done it's gonna be pretty cool. Right now I have 3 of these. Will I be obtaining more, modding them and selling them? It is VERY VERY Possible. |

I might have to try this. They look like the crimson one released in the ROC line. These look very cool.

OK Updated pics on how this looks and I gotta tell ya, so far pretty good.
As you can see ANYTHING that is black and shiny is actually the Fusion Black Paint. I wasn't digging the shine so I used a Flat Black Spray Paint over it and WOW did that deaden the shine. So much so if you look at picture 5 you'll see the flat black in the foreground and a Fusion Black in the background for comparison. Look how the Flat Black F117 actually almost disappears where the sun is hitting it and becomes part of the table where the shine is. It just completely whites out, kinda like the real thing. THATS SICK! Last edited by jpdraven; 03-11-2014 at 11:41 AM.. |

Dr.Sin,
These are nicer then the ROC F117. Not as bulky and crowded, feels more like a Nighthawk with the SMALL Exception of the Cockpit. An F-117 Nighthawk Cockpit is Triangular in shape not squared off like this one BUT ANYONE with a little styrene experience can reshape the top EASILY. I haven't done it yet.... but I might, problem is I am in short supply of the stuff right now which is why I have NOT filled in the 4 holes in the middle of the Jet yet where the sound buttons were. I will eventually do that and give them a quick touch up on the paint in that area. I very well might Pyramid the top of the cockpits as well. The biggest problem with these is the bottom half. It just sucks Monkey Nuts because of 2 reasons. 1- The landing gear doesn't retract and is AWEFULLY BULKY, ridiculously bulky in fact. Not a big deal if it is sitting on a Flagg Flight Deck, but still could be much better. 2- The cockpit is recessed into the bottom of the jet. The manufacturer accounted for this BUT that makes life harder when building a custom bottom section. I was going to simply measure and cut a thick piece of styrene to the exact dimensions of the bottom, pilot the mounting screw holes and be done with it but alas, won't work that easily because of the recessed cockpit. The SEAT is part of the top half of the Jet, which means I'd have to cut the ass of the seat completely out and I am not sure how much this will raise a figure sitting in the cockpit..... my fear.... that the cockpit wont close which would be pointless. I'm sure I could work something out because there is clearance in the front for a pilot's legs. I'll have to mess with this and see how creative I can get. I could CUT the landing gear off, leaving 3 large square holes in the bottom of the Jet which I could then easily fit landing gear into and make door hatches for them with styrene. Haven't attempted it UNTIL I sit down and plan that out. Right now I just wanted to get the main part of the Jet painted correctly. I'm like Indiana Jones right now, I'm making this shit up as I go lol. Last edited by jpdraven; 03-05-2012 at 06:09 PM.. |

Lastly here's a few Pictures of it:
So I did a little reasearch and it seems this Jet is actually UNDERSIZED, in actuality is is a few feet longer then the F-14 Tomcat! This is truer to scale of the F-16 Falcon BUT it is still very cool none the less. . I am actually really liking that it is a little smaller. Last edited by jpdraven; 03-11-2014 at 11:41 AM.. |

OK first Jet is in the process of being painted as we speak.
Not bad really for an on the cheap F-117 Nighthawk. I REALLY want to make my own bottom half of this Jet because the wheels do not retract. I am gonna try to come up with something for it. BUT for now, they'll use their stock bottom halves. These are going to be awesome Cobra Jets to compliment any Night Raven. Oh the Joes have F-22 Raptors so each has Stealth Technology. |

Im gonna do something with these to correct the landing gear and make the bottom more rigid. But yes, the Paint Job made the jet, that woodland camo was horrible lol. Thanks for the compliment! |
