The cockpit will need to wait till I have hulls to play around with. If you are able to cut out styrene, I will make a set of templates available to anyone that's interested. I do appreciate that there may be folks out there that would be daunted at the thought of scratching the cockpit themselves. So I may make an interior available. But as to a cost... I'd have to make it first. Small piece of progress today as its been mad busy at work. I cut out two pieces of 020 thou styrene and sandwiched them between the risers(the styrene will be the mating surface between the two halves). I am going to drill another ten or so holes for screws across the shape just to make sure the styrene will be securely held to the risers. It will just be as a safety measure to ensure it sits flat during the construction phase. Anyway, here are the pics. And the good news is that the Comanche would fit through the stargate....(so maybe it wasn't cancelled, they were just requisitioned by the IOA for defence of off world bases, lol). And finally with the little craft that made me consider this project. How absolutely pants it looks in comparison with even just the risers... |

Bar, are you still working on this project? I'm anxious to see your progress on it.

Well, if this isn't just a blast from the past. I still have the cut out sections up at work, but never progressed. I moved onto 1/6 scale shortly after this thread and have been making a 1/6 scale Bat from The Dark Knight Rises. I can not say with any degree of certainty i will get back to this one. But you never know. |
