Take away the armor torso. I don't see a survivalist sweating or even freezing in the boonies with this on.
Remove one of the thigh pouches for either a knife or pistol scabbard. Smaller gloves.

He's not bad mate but I'm not a huge fan of the reactive armor so I would lose that and I would give him either bare arms or sort sleeves. I would use different web gear as well, something with a lot of pouches to carry all his survival gear.

Do t like the torso and a survalist would tuck his pants in his boots to avoid critters crawling up.

personally I really, REALLY like the reactive armor for what it is....but I didn't like it with Jungle Assault Duke, and i'm getting the same feeling with this.
if you have the JA Duke web gear I'd go with that, its got enough pouches as is, a couple rifle magazines AND a holster + knife. Plus its got room for more pouches if you want to add more. maybe the POC Recondo torso and upper arms could work for this custom. |

I'm partial to the survival T he usually sports. However with some nice gray accents on the armor. I wouldn't mind the figure in my collection. I like this spin on outback. Good work. I can't wait to see it finished.

Outback is my favorite character and I will never tire of seeing great versions of him. Slaughter's Marauder's did one a while back featuring similar parts but with an ARAH color scheme - it was great. Here's the link" http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...-fit-team.html
Since he's a POC version I don't mind the RIA torso as some others do. Just look at the armor POC Beachhead was wearing. I think it looks great with your choice of webgear. If you must change torso go for POC Recondo. The gloves stick out to me as too long. I would suggest POC Dusty lower arms. Let me know if you need a painted OB head - have an extra from the 7 pack. I like everything except for the gloves. Looks like he's getting ready to do the dishes. I can't wait to see it painted up!

With the body, arms, and gloves he'd make a good SF operator.
My 2 cents. |
