One of my frustration is to acquire a base for my cobra figures and vehicles. And for some reason I came accross this set that is being used in another toy line. I just want to share to you the mini-base that I created out of kotobukiya mechanical chain base. Thanks a lot for looking.

As far as I can tell they go for about $20 a piece and are from the Gundam collection. Since the scale is so much smaller you need a lot of them to make a Joe base, but the results are nice. Could definitely be useful for making a multi-level version of the underground Pit from the comics...

you can buy them at hobbylinkjapan for about $20 each shipped.each one is about 16cm(7inches) wide by 16 cm tall
(7inchs) so it is really not alot of base for your buck . It does look cool though how many did it take to make this minibase? I count 16. |

I got some of those too, but there is a problem. There are different types and sets. Most of them are ground and walls, but you need some specific ones to do corners (end of wall on a 45º angle on the other wall)and to do roofs.
