CAMERA UPDATE: Birthday, February 16th, 2012!
Yes, I am married in to a family that absolutely, positively does NOT believe in the element of surprise. Expect some new, yes I said "NEW", pics the weekend after the 16th. Oh yeah, I got sidetracked with working on a piece of the sewer system that will be on the absolute bottom of my dio. The one section I've completed so far has 1,216 individually applied 1/4" x 1/4" tiles. Now back to work on the main 3-story entrance above the elevator. |

Sewers, always had a strange attraction (for dios that is) and I can feel your pain, though the one I made last year didn't have that many tiles. Perhaps I should go back and count though.... |

Dude, your work is very inspiring. I've been working on a landscape-type dio for over a year. Once that's finished I'll be working on something very similar to what you're working on to go underneath the Terror Drome that will sit on the top.
I can't wait to see more pictures. You're giving me a lot of ideas. Keep up the good work! |

I know this is a very non-HISSTANK-ish thing to ask for, but I REALLY need some well wishes, prayers, human sacrifices, etc right about now for gainful employment, and not just for this whole project (which is, as of this post, now without the base color and on the last piece and a half of foam board). Unemployment is paying, but not near enough to keep me and my wife from wondering and worrying when we're going to lose our house, much less wonder if we're going to be able to even keep the lights going in this place.
Like I said, I know it's not very HISSTANK-y (and I expect some to even flame me for asking), but anything is better than what is going on now. |
