Does anyone know of a method to remove the bubble from the cardback without ruing the card back or leaving part of the bubble attached?

No clue, but if you find out I'm all ears.
I think it's nearly impossible since the plastic bubble is glued to the cardboard. It's as big of a mystery as finding out who put the bop in the bop shoo bop. |

Seems like a nice niche market if someone with a background in graphics and who owns a high grade printer would put together some repro GI Joe cards. A guy on eBay sells vintage Star Wars and Indiana Jones cardbacks. Don't know about the quality. They run about $10 but include the bubble to recard the figure.
