I'd also like to add one caution on the heating up part. Don't let your figure sit in there too long, or touch the bottom of the pan (I've heard horror stories of melting)
For most figures running them under the faucet has been hot enough to work (Tomax and Xamot being the exception) |

is there an faq or compilation of 'how to' information available or we just have to search? i'd love to see an compiled sticky faq thread on custom creation techniques, corrections, disassembly guide, etc.

Just and FYI for those that are scared about 'boiling' their figures... A hair dryer on Med heat will soften up the plastic enough to 'pop' out the arm without risking the rest of the figure.

Running the figure under hot water is sufficient. I did this tweak on all my Duke armed figures as well. When putting the arm back in though, only run the upper arm in hot water, that way the arm peg is still hard so you can push it into the softer opening. If you heat up the lower arm again, you won't be able to get it in cause the peg will be too soft.
