is there anyway to remove the residue that super glue leaves?ie that white film around the area that was glued,any help would be appreciated

Great question. I'd love to hear the answer. It ruins a lot of pieces when used. Well, doesn't ruin, but disfigures it.

rub rub rub, it may not take it off completely away but i dulls out the whiteness. best thing is use less glue and keep it away from the edges next time.

I used to have the same problem when using super glue, i use LocTite super glue now and there is never any white residue after use. You can even buy a bottle with a brush , you use less and it is super quick drying, sticks and drys instantly. Holds even when the figs get bashed about.

yeah the problem is i already glued the area and need to remove it being it looks frosted,is there any solutions such as nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol that might work?

nail polish remover removes krazy glue, but i don't know if it will work though..

dont use nail polish remover on plastic!!! the acetone in nail polish remover will eat the plastic and you will be left with another disfiguration and another white film that will never go away.

man its buggin me,the figure isnt ruined but looks like crap because of this small area of glue resin,i cant believe there is nothing that will strip this stuff away being its only a film,but thanks for the suggestions
