I have a POC figure I wish to trade out his lower legs for another set that I think will look better on the figure.
I have never done custom work, and any help would be greatly appreciated. I was thinking the hot water trick, but, figured I'd get some real advice before performing any surgery. ^_^ Thanks all! |

just unscrew the upper thigh, they come apart and then you just piece out the lower legs and replace them with the one's you want.

With or without the new lower leg's knee?
If it's with it's just a matter of unscrewing the thigh as mentioned, though the new legs may not fit just right. |

Hmm yah, sorry I new to this. OK, yah, if I want to switch out the knee as well, just unscrew the upper leg.
What IF I want to keep the current knee but JUST exchange out the lower leg? Is that even feasible? Sorry for my lack of experience on this guys and thank you for all the help! |

boil and pop/bend/re-attach/cool, but i would practice with some roc vipers first.
actually, the one time i tried that, i couldn't get the leg to re-shape properly. i have never tried separating the lower leg though. |

You can switch out the knees as well...you have to place the lower leg / knee assembly in hot water (or warm it somehow) then push the knee pin out of the assembly. Reheat and reassemble...BUT not all knees work flawlessly with all uppers and lowers - some modification may be needed.

Using a blowdryer is a lot easier than any water boiling method....put that sucker on high heat and heat it directly for about 2 minutes, then pop it right off.
