Hey there could one of you all answer what is the best paint to use on the 25th line? I have a few customs I'd like to show on the 'Tank but they need to be painted. I know there is a thread on this, maybe show me which one of the 680 something threads it is thanks....

I use Testor's acrylic and seal if with spray dullcote. I love the consistency of testors. I've heard others like Tamiya, but I've never used them.

I use mostly Citadel Acrylic paints because they go on good and very little brush marks. I also use some Testors model master acrylics as well.

I use Citadel acrylics on my Sigmas, but used Testor's enamel chrome silver on my 25th CC head...
Trial and error. What works for some, might not work for others. I've personally never had any luck with spray-on overcoat, but the brush on does wonders for me. |

Has anyone ever tried the acryllic paint markers? I have no experience painting and wondered how well they worked.

I haven't done a lot of customs, but Testor's acrylic worked really well for my CC/Destro customs. I actually also used some craft paint for a lot of the details. It came in a bottle that looks like this:
Since most are probably only using their 'Joes for display, I think this stuff would be ok if you use a good sealer once it's dried. Anyone know if Future Floor Wax would work for these guys? |

I used to always use those before I could work with a brush. I recently tried one out again and wasn't very happy with the over all effect. Testors, Citadel and Tamiya are good Acrylic paints. Tamiya spray paints are the best I've used (and I've used kryon fusion) |

Thanks, I might practice with some junk or some non-visible parts first to see what I think of the outcome.
