What type of drill tip would you reccomend for drilling the hole for the ball neck joint on figures heads?

don't know about drill bits, I use a dremel. which is great for neck balls, sanding joints etc

I have a Craftsman drill and a Craftsman Rotary Tool like a dremel but it's a little bulky. I actually keep some smaller bits and Dremels bores and do a lot of work by hand. I'll pilot a hole with an awl and work my way up from smaller to larger bits.

It's just plastic man, it doesn't matter what drill bit you use. Oh, specifically for neck-holes? A Dentist's Burr (might have a different name). It's basically a rounded router bit, so it cuts sideways and leaves a curved hole Last edited by DrNightmare; 11-20-2009 at 12:20 AM.. |
