when I apply my 'pre-base coat,' i.e. a primer, how well does it need to be painted? kind of a decent job, or does it have to look perfect like an actual basecoat? And how many coats should you use?

Whats up guys. I'm trying to make a simple custom of Firefly, but I'm having trouble removing the vest. I don't wanna damage anything, seeing as how I'm on a limited budget (BROKE!). Any ideas?

Worst vest ever (to remove).
Pull off the head. Pop open the left side, turn the right arm full up. Start the vest up and to the right to get the lower lip of the arm sleeve beyond the now upside down shoulder blade. If you're having a little trouble, I pull out a screwdriver and give it a tug using the length of the vest below the shoulder out and over the shoulder blade. It is a pain in the ass to get off, but simple to put back on.

just pop his head off, unsnap the side part, and wiggle it off. it helps to bend the arms straight back. it may seem tight, but these figures are pretty tough.

Use a hair dryer to heat it up. It'll soften the plastic. Piece of cake.

I noticed that some of you made new names for your joe or cobra stands. I forgot where I saw em, but I saw em. I take it you guys printed them out from your printer. Whats the measurements for this so I can do this also?
Thanks in advance. |
