I know Classified's got most of the juice these days (Hasbro's all-too-brief o-ring return) but for those of you still invested in 4" ME style figures, I'd love to see how you've augmented your collections with customs and kitbashes of characters and figures who never had a proper modern era release.

I'll start with one of my own that I'm pretty happy with: Sonic Fighters Zap.



For my part, my painting days are behind me, thanks to a hereditary essential tremor in my hands, but I enjoy the challenge of a really good kitbash.

For me a lot of it was buying O-Ring accessories and using them on Marauders bodies. I know that's how I got my Scoop, Grid-Iron (I remember a lot of us RUSHING to do him when those first Marauders bodies hit), Blizzard, etc. Didn't get Muskrat but I COULD put a boonie hat from Marauders on that blue Dusty from 50th Anniversary to get close enough to the Night Force version.

Fast Draw I did my own version of using the same recipe the Club did, as well (EG a spare POC Duke missile backpack on top of a repainted Blowtorch).

Most of those were FSS figures, but I wasn't in a place to get FSS figures at the time so those are "gaps" to me.

Nice!!! I believe you got that hat and legs from CFT John at the last Joecon. I did the same, but ended up painting over the camo on a pair of 50th Beachhead legs. For me, these Gung-ho legs are too big for this torso.

Yup you guessed it. The head is SDCC Trakker. I think the hat is from Marauder John and the rest is obviously the joecon Hardball. I do agree the legs are a to tall for him
