I wanna swap out the head for this 25th Scarlett I just bought online..can anyone recommend some good sites or toy line alternatives that may have a decent looking head sculpt for a Scarlett?

There is no perfect option for Scarlett in my opinion, and it depends on personal taste. The best shape is probably Walmart Retro but the paint apps are bad and the price is high. I like the look of it on the 25th buck though, so long as the paint is fixed.

There are other possibilities to try. I haven’t tried any of these. They might not scream Scarlett as they lack the classic loose ponytail. Each would require modding of the head socket by dremel or by the old glue trick.

If you are looking for redhead ponytail there aren’t many options. Marauder Task Force Talia head might be a touch big:

The older Jurassic World Claire has bangs but might be closer to the right size:

Interesting ideas to consider. All of these definitely fit the neck ball-and-socket joint for ME figures? That's a concern of mine..like, how can you tell if the head part will snap on fine? I was considering checking out what toy makers like Joy Toy have to offer since their stuff is known to be interchangeable with GI Joe ME figures.

Unless you try or see someone else try it you cannot know if it will fit. Even Joe parts aren’t compatible with Joe parts - for example a 50th Lady Jaye has a longer neck/ deeper socket than Scarlett and would not work.

The chances of finding a head that looks good and fits right are really slim, so you have to be willing to modify the joint - dremel deeper if the head fits too high or the ball is too big/ add filler if the hole is too deep or the head is wobbly.

I like the Retro Scarlett head, but even that one required me to modify it to fit properly on the figure out of the package.


I had to cut a bit off the back of the neck so she won't be constantly looking down. If you don't mind modifying, you can probably get any head to fit.

Here's one where I used the vintage Crosshairs head on a modern figure.


So, if you don't mind some cutting and drilling, find the head you want to use and mod it (unless it is physically too big to look good on the body).

You can also look at one of the custom casters out there. Spartan118 (https://spartan118.bigcartel.com/cat...ed-female-head) does a large selection of heads which he offers either painted or unpainted. His painting skills are incredible and if you can give him some reference for skin tone and hair color, he'll paint them to order.

I'm using one of his unpainted heads (189 Giselle) for a Scarlett custom I'm working on. (Painting by me; Spartan118 does a much better job.)

Definitely. That's why I tend to order unpainted heads. (Though, that's its own kind of investment.)

Would anyone happen to know how the Black Widow Gamerverse figure works with 25th Scarlett? I saw someone use this head sculpt once and I happen to really like it but I'm worried it will be too large.
