Hey, question for the customizers out there.

Have any of y'all experimented with moving a Super7 head to an O-ring body?

I don't own any yet, and I'm just curious if anyone's tried it, and what would be involved.

I've put O-ring G.I. Joe heads on Reaction and Kenner bodies and they work just fine. It's not easy cutting off the ball joint on an O-ring head.

As far as the size they all work fine together.

Cutting off the head from a reaction figure is rather easy though, I just haven't tried what you're asking but if there is a will there is a way. Maybe casting the ball joint from an o-ring head might make a more natural fit. But I think they all (o-ring) have different sockets on the neck.

Yeah, actually the neck diameter was what I was wondering about, especially on stuff like the 82-84 bodies, if the neck was a larger diameter and thus wouldn't fit in the neck area of the Joe figures? Fitting a new neck swivel doesn't seem like it would be a hugely difficult process. An easily-designed 3d printed part seems like it would fit the bill after a little measurement. I bet you could pin the new neck swivel to the head with a piece of paperclip (or piano wire if you were hardcore) but if the neck doesn't fit, it's a done deal.
