Yeah, Micron archival pens from HobbyLobby would be the way to go. I wouldn't use a Sharpie even though they'd be cheaper. You just need to really make sure the paint is dry before using them otherwise the paint can gunk up the pen, and don't paint on the ink afterward because it will bleed into the paint. But it'll last better and look better than a Sharpie IMO.

Ok, looking at it you probably are better off with an 05 or so since you can make the line in one pass. The 02 or 01 are nice, because you can always make a line thicker whereas you can't make a thick line thinner. But here's Scarlett torso with an 05-02-01 lines on them for an idea of thickness. It might be a bit tedious work, though. Slice is someone I've had wanted to make myself for a long time, but always put it off for this very reason. If good waterslide decals become available, I might just wait it out for them. Not to discourage you. Hope this helps in some way. And now you know or something...

But doesn't the ink rub off easily?

To do it right, and hand paint them, it takes about 3 hours.
Then clear coat to protect them better.

I've never had an issue with it. Archival ink once dry is made to be durable vs standard ink. The only time you run into an issue is if you get it really wet, like by touching it with more paint. Then it'll bleed into the paint. Other than that it'll hold it's color better than something like a Sharpie that will look off in light even from the start, and fade over time. I've even sprayed it with sealant and it doesn't bleed from that. I mean, I'm not constantly rubbing at the ink or anything, and I only use it for line work (which this would be). Painting probably is the most durable route since there are so many marks to make for Slice, and it's not like these are really difficult designs to make with a brush. The pen will make it easier to control the size and shape of the lines, though, especially if you don't have a really steady hand.
