Hi everyone,

I'm working on a few projects right now and was hoping for some ideas. There are a lot of really creative talented artists here, and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

1. I'm working on a pirate custom, what are some things i could use for a pirate hook? looking for something that would be roughly size compatible with a marauder arm, obviously will take sculpting/glueing etc to work.

2. I am wanting to turn a marauder dog into superman's dog crypto who has a lab like head. Are there any good labrador looking dogs in 1:18 scale that wouldn't look too small on the marauder dog body?

Can’t help with the dog, but MU Reaper has a sickle hand that could be made into a hook without too much trouble:

Best I can think is to try Schleich miniatures. They have TONS of animals, including labrador. Can't promise much in terms of scale match but it's worth a shot.

Chap Mai had a pirates line including a galley ship. Last time I saw it was at TRU about a year before it closed down.

Some of the fantasy stuff from BFS can probably be used as pirate stuff too.
