Good Morning Tankers!

As promised August is here and so is another give back contest for you customizers!

This is a friendly competition give back and thank you for you guys who put in so much work for you're passion of creating awesome customs.


Rules:

you need at least 600 posts
you have had to do at least 5 customs
post that you're in , who your favorite Joe or Cobra(only 1) is and why.




The entries will close 8/20. From there you will have until 8/30 to submit your customs.

Like last time, you PM the entries, that way no borrowed ideas occur and we keep this 100% fair.

The them will be 1983-1986 ARAH ONLY. . You can do any figure you want in this span.

What ill be looking for.

Originality. YOUR take on the classics. Not boring remakes. Lets see your guys freelancing skills!
Builds.
Creativity.
Skill
Presentation.

In the event of a tie, I will bring in a second judge for the tie breaker.

This’ll be tough. Finding someone I haven’t done in that span, doing my own doing without pandering/ripping off your New Era line. Lots to think about here.

Favorite Joe:

Falcon- the Joe movie was the first big immersion I had into Joe. And as a little brother myself, Falcon appealed to me. Jinx was also one of my favorite figures, so when her and Falcon get together, it was a nice selling point, as well.

I’m aiming to be in…school will be ramping up soon.

I have spent all afternoon and am continuing into the night customizing, trying to make pieces work, lol…

EDIT: My favorite Joe is Snake-Eyes. Issue #21, #26/27 started the back story on this character that simply caught my young imagination. To this day, that characterization holds up.

Not gonna lie, I'm almost done on this one. Once I homed in on my concept, I was pretty damn excited to get it out there.

This'll sound a little campy, but special thanks to Slice, because this is probably a concept I wouldn't have ever drummed up if the parameters of this contest didn't force me to think outside my standard ARAh recreations. So, thanks for that, Slice.

I don't know if it'll shine through in the final product, but this interpretation may be one of my favorite concepts, and now I kind of think this particular Joe is pretty awesome, as where I didn't care about him before.
