I use only model master acryl (discontinued now) and the Tamiya acrylic. Joint rub is still a thing, but the regular surfaces seem to hold fine. I don’t have to use a clear coat. As for glue I usually use loctite but it doesn’t seem to be a permanent solution (which can be good when you want to undo or redo, but there are times when you’d like it to be more permanent). So I wouldn’t mind knowing about a better glue, wonder how gorilla glue compares.

Anyone got any pro tips or, better yet, hacks for painting pin stripes?

I might try using painter?s tape if I?m looking to do real fine lines, like a Headman.

Maybe ask Bad Mother Tattoos for a decal pattern sheet? I've never tried pinstripes myself, for record.

I used this thin masking tape to paint the gold stripe on my 50th Ultimate Hooded CC.
https://www.hobbytown.com/tamiya-mas...yqs4aqaq2kt4yz I put 3 strips of tape on, and then removed the middle one. I painted a stripe of gold where the removed piece was. Maybe you can do something like that. I don't know if there is 1 mm or 2 mm tape. I think the tape I used was th 3 mm tape.

Looks like they do have 1 mm tape:
https://www.hobbytown.com/tamiya-mas...yqs4aqaq2ut4yz And 2 mm tape: https://www.hobbytown.com/tamiya-mas...yqs4aqaq2lt4yz You can alternate 2mm and 1mm pieces of tape on the figure. Then remove the 1 mm pieces, and paint. Maybe that would work.

I'm pulling together parts for an improved ME version of Roadblock v2. 2 Questions:
1. Has anyone used the Club TF RB head on an MTF T-shirt torso? If so how well does it sit (too high/low?). 2. With a little modification, could the v2-style green vest from RB v17 come close to fitting on an MTF T-shirt torso? I'll probably fall back to the MTF model 86 vest but the colors aren't quite right.

I used the Raider head, but it being sold out is a problem:
