Random question...
Does anyone know of a template for a Cobra Shock Trooper riot shield? I'm sure I saw one years ago on Hisstank or Joecustoms for making one out of a figure card bubble. I never got the Shock Trooper, but want a shield for a figure. |

Another random question, does anyone know what happened to oreobuilder? I always enjoyed seeing his customs, but he's been quiet for a very long time, and now his blog has even been deleted.

Question for you guys, feel free to share your opinion. What are your thoughts on doing custom versions of exclusive figures?
The high cost of exclusives makes me not want to open them and makes me want to sell them. The parts are available to do them as customs, but by the time you buy two or three figures for parts, a cast item or two, and accessories, you could have 40 bucks in the project and it not be factory paint, potentially have paint rub, and probably no named stand. On the other hand, with a custom you can do things differently if you liked.

In the End, I kept very few Club figures. I either made versions I thought were better, or copied their recipes. So, given how much they go for, I say sell them and make your own unless you absolutely love them

I made a Sgt. Slaughter and Dialtone. I sold my SDCC Sarge, and plan on selling my DT soon. Go for it. I like my customs a lot better!!!

To name a few, I think tundra Stalker, Slice, and Darklon are literally 10/10 examples the FSS did.
