So I hate to dog on Marauders in any way, because I absolutely love so much of what they do... but man, their female figures are just a tiny bit too tall. I made a Munitia a while back, and while I can just accept that maybe she's just a tall woman, I'm hesitant to throw any body else together. Which sucks, because I'd really like to make some customs for a number of characters.
Has anyone found a solution for this? I'm not great at taking a knife or dremel to figures, but has anyone found an easy way to shorten the Valkyrie legs? Or are there some other cheap 1:18 scale legs that fit on to the Valkyrie waist that could maybe be used? |

It's not a cheap option, but I've seen a few people use Joy Toy female legs and waist with the Val torso. Another option is using male MTF legs on the Val waist.

They actually are just a little shorter. I thought about using them, but they're just a little too thick for my tastes.
Blackrazor, thanks for the suggestions. I haven't really tried to see what female Joe legs would be compatible with the Val waist, and one reason I brought this up was to see some examples of people doing so. Although ideally I was kind of hoping someone had a simple mod to the Val legs to shorten them, as I really like the modular aspect. |
