Yes, boil and pop.

How long do you leave the part in the water?

I just run my parts under scalding hot water. 30 seconds to a minute. It depends on the thickness.

I use a glass measuring cup with water in it. I microwave the cup of water until it boils then take it out of the microwave and submerge the part for 10-30 seconds, depending on thickness. Then take the part out and separate the joint.

Thanks for the replies. Do you think hot water from a Keurig coffee maker would be hot enough?

Yes, but the water will smell like coffee, and your figure will smell like coffee.

As long as it doesn't permanently damage the figure I'm cool with the slight coffee smell as long as it goes away.

With joes, I use a hairdryer. Faster and less hassle than heating up the water. I will say though that I warped a boss fight sword like that.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I just got my Boss Fight pirates and want to seek reassurance before I ruin anything.
Boss Fight arms can just boil and pop out, right? I do not see any way to remove the vest if the arms are on. Thanks. |
