Ok, working on a dio/custom project and I need to make a nice paved road. Any idea what to use for the pavement?

Styrofaom--paint it black, then drybrush it with a light or medium gray. The texture of the styrofoam will look a lot like pavement, and the combination of colors will look like blacktop. A great place to get styrofoam is furniture stores. They get large sheets of it as packing around dressers and such. They just throw it away and would probably be glad to let ya have some.

Those are both good ideas...there is also scrap-booking paper which is a nice alternative for a cheap price.
This is just an example, there's plenty of other options out there, too (without the yellow lines): Karen Foster 12x12 Paper - Road Pavement - 2 lot - eBay (item 370110791603 end time Jun-08-09 00:10:00 PDT) Justin |

GripTape works well and is inexpensie and has adhesive backing. Check HomeDepot or skateboard shops.
