I'm looking to remove factory paint from the torsos of some Retaliation figures. I've used acetone on arms, heads, and other soft plastic parts, but I know that it will cause corrosion the harder plastic that the torsos are made of. In my experience, as least with Retaliation 3-pack Roadblock, the corrosion was pretty much instant.
Is there anything that will let me strip the factor paint from a hard plastic torso, without causing damage? Thanks! |

This stuff. It's a gel, so you have a lot more control, can "paint it" on specific areas, etc. IT CAN eat plastic, but it takes a long time to do so.
Edit: It also makes an excellent stove top cleaner.
