Hello, I didn't want to use a sticker. Does anyone have any advice on the best way to repair worn out cobra symbols on my vintage Cobra officers chest. Any help would be wonderful. Thanks so much for your time

The only way I would know is to make a very small flexible stencil out of something pliable.

I think they are called "water slide labels" or something. It's like a sticker that gets put directly on the figure. They can be very effective; look at the figures Black Major casts, he uses this technique and you can't tell the cobra symbols/logos aren't factory made

I have always wanted to try a rubber stamp, but I can never find the right size.
I really need to find a way to get a USMC Globe and Anchor one for a Gung-Ho Custom that I have been working on... |

I use waterside paper. You can't just buy them though. The paper is available at hobby stores, and you have to print out the logo on the paper to scale, seal it and then once dry trip it out get it set and apply it. I then brush over it with a flat clear coat from testors.
OR You can find a tanker who will make them for you. Only problem with waterside is if a light color like silver or white logos are applied to a dark background say a cobra officer blue chest, the lighter color goes darker. That is if you use clear waterslide paper, white is available but you then have a white back or border. |

I meant to say trim it out, wet it and set it.
