I've seen a few customs using the Kwinn torso and arms for an updated Duke.
Just wondering if anyone knew if there were any legs that matched the Kwinn torso without requiring paint? I wasn't going to get Kwinn but may change my mind if I there is an easy LBC to get a better Duke. |

You will have to paint the waist on Kwinn no way around it.

This man speaks the truth. Painting the waist is is pretty easy, however, so get off yo ass and give it a try.

Well I try to avoid having to paint whenever I can! I'd hoped that there were some existing legs out there that were the same colour as his waist.
Thanks for the replies. |

I did some poking around, but I'm not finding anything that matches up exactly. Perhaps someone else knows of something?
BTW, I understand your adversion to painting the figure, but A) painting the waist is really easy, and B) it doesn't interfere with the joint movement or posing like painting other areas like elbows or knees. I'd suggest giving it a try.

If you are trying to make an updated Duke custom like others have done with the Kwinn you need to paint because Dukes pants are green and Kwinn's shorts are tan.

For me the iconic thing about that Duke was the tan shirt and bandolier so I could live with the figure having lighter coloured pants. Before getting a Kwinn I wanted to know if there were any legs out there that matched already and whether they were readily available. Then I could make a choice about whether I want to buy Kwinn, do some painting, perhaps buy some donor legs or go down a different route for my default Duke. |
