So were the included bad figures actually 4 inches? It's kinda of odd the door ways aren't so tall, like Capt OG ReadMo said.
I would've used it a lot in the day, but in my kid who played with toys days I'd use Playmobil, Little People whatever would remotely work as buildings. |

They probably scale pretty well with the building pieces. Nothing else in the set scales with anything else. The tractor is tiny, the animals and food are way too big.

The figures are in the 1/18 ballpark. I compared one of the non-Hammond Collection style Owen figures to these and they are almost exactly the same height. You can consider them to be Star Wars or basic Jurassic Park/World scale. They're really junky though.

The Walmart exclusive Kid Connection Space Exploration Play Set is fantastic for 3.75 and ME Joes. Customizers are turning them into Cobra Missile launch bases and doing amazing stuff with it. The rocket platform fits a Rolling Thunder missile on it perfectly.

I've gone to several Walmarts this week and they were all clearancing out these sets, and other Kid Connection playsets in the similar style, for $12.50 so looks like these won't be around much longer. I think I may grab another to make a Toxo Viper/Cesspool type lab out of, shouldn't be too hard to fit a giant vat of toxic waste or zombie holding tank where the rocket sits.

The cow might be close, now that you mention it. I forgot it existed. I haven't taken the animals out of their sealed bags but I'll see if I can get a flash photo to work when I get a chance.

Amazon is giving half off on the Lucky Doug set I posted photos of, so $19.99 instead of $39.99. Currently with a $3 off coupon on top of that so $16.99 overall:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B094CKG1LQ I would not recommend paying $40 for these, but $20 and under is reasonable for what it is. If you're remotely curious about this brand now is the time to try it. I don't think you will ever find these structures cheaper.

I also wonder who "Doug" is and what makes him so lucky. You mention this is a brand; is there a continuity, or am I overthinking it? (I'm probably overthinking it.)

Thank you. I wouldn't even mind seeing pictures of the people. I strongly doubt they'd be of any practical use to an adult collector, but I'm curious from the perspective of kids' toys.

According to the packaging, the actual manufacturer is: Dongjie Toys Factory Chenghai District Shantou City Guangdong Province China 515800 Phone: 85747613 Email: [email protected]

My daughter's daycare back I the day had a similar set of figures. The owner told me that she got them out of an education supply catalog. I did see them at an Education World with a doll house. Didn't even think about scale at the time. They were kinda pricey too.
