Brad Turner is my favorite M.A.S.K. character. This like Trakker is a seasoned, older, boomer Brad Turner. He is a senior member of the Cobra team now due to his plutonium nybor addiction in the late 80s which got him kicked out of M.A.S.K. Nice Start. Brad Turner was the first MASK guy I got and hence is my favorite as well. Can't wait to see the finished results. Keep us posted.

I might just file down and paint Blow Torchs thigh pads black and then I ordered his M.A.S.K. which might not need any modifications beyond a light dremeling. He is nothing without his M.A.S.K. and he's one of the few heros who looks good in red, yellow, and black.

I also got several other masks which will be given to my extra cobra troops, assuming they fit pre-dremeling. In a weird way, MASK and gi joe have merged in my universe and I'm finally able to act out what I've always wanted to. Except one down side, its expensive. But by accumulating lots I can sell off the extras since I only want their helmets. |

Yeah, I use the original MASKS since nothing else can compare. I got it to fit on Steelers head through dremeling. I'm working on Sly Rax, Miles Mayhem, and Floyd Malloy right now. But I won't know if I can complete them until I get the original helmets. Mayhem is the easiest custom since Hasbro already made his body in that Tripwire vs. CC pack. Its just a matter of getting an extra Mutt/Bazooka head and the V1 "Vader-Viper" helmet. I'm also planning on modifying my Mamba to be his vehicle. Many of the masks are huge for these vehicles.

It helps me when my imagination isn't functioning properly. 2.) It hopefully inspired Hasbro to give us some figures that we really would enjoy having. Thanks again for sharing! |

Well, I think you do great work, so please keep us posted with new photos.
It's inspiring to see customs like yours for two reasons: 1.) It helps me when my imagination isn't functioning properly. 2.) It hopefully inspired Hasbro to give us some figures that we really would enjoy having. Thanks again for sharing! Many of the parts for the figures are there anyways. Blowtorch and Turner are both yellow, so it works. A blue CG body is Miles Mayhem and Cobra diver with a Bat arm is more or less Floyd "Don't call me Billy Idol" Malloy. But as for Hasbro, 80s nostalgia is working for them. So why not give us Mask? All the figures can be are retooled joes with new heads and helmets. The vehicles can come from existing molds and many 25th figs can fit on the motorcycles anyways. A M.A.S.K. revival is coming. If not as a surprise in 09, then 10' for sure. I'd love to see the characters updated and incorporated into the joe universe though, VENOM already has dreadnoks on its team, Malloy is basically a cyborg, etc. Joe needs a few cool dudes with awesome helmets to go against Cobra's monopoly on the "sci fi villain" look. |

looks good man!
the one thing that always confused me about the MASK toys was that you were able to get the same character with the same helmet but with variations... like in your pic the helmet has an extra piece thats part of the helmet mold that goes down the the chest.. but the one I have doesnt have that piece.. never understood why.. any thoughts? And for your Miles Mayhem you should use this helmet: Headgear-11 - $4.50 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce
