Cool. Your second pic reminds me of that James Brown hot tub skit . . . .
My advice is to start by reading the stickied threads that are tutorials. This will give you a solid base for these particular figures. Fumbles' head is just a Torpedo head with the typical Robot Chicken animation techniques - mouths drawn on white paper with black ink & bits of fleshtone sculpting compound. You'll note they also force the shoulders & hips out to allow for more movement. I wouldn't be surprised if they cut all joints & glue in bits of pipecleaner as a matter of course.

Def do as much reading/research as you can on all the subjects, paint, sculpt, how disassemble and to re-assemble the figs, hot glue and Vaseline tricks, watered-down paint tricks, tricks to use toothpicks for paint apps, dry brushing...etc
I do a lot of research for my line of work, and I must say that the stickied threads are invaluable. remember "knowing is half the battle!" I'm customizing a HALO Spartan figure right now, and I gotta say there's been infinite help here on the Tank that applies to all figure lines. Last edited by MLos1; 01-14-2009 at 05:00 AM..
