According to Krylon, the Fusion line bonds to plastic on a molecular level. Must be the most unstable of the plastic molecules, 'cause that junk doesn't stick worth a damn! It's also not flexible and will crack with ease. Basically, it's garbage. Don't waste your money.

It's really only good for hard plastics.

Which regular spray paint works just fine on as well.

Very very true.
Depends on what you are spraying though, your mileage may vary kind of thing. There are things I would use it for and things I wouldn't. Quote:
Environmental factors themselves can swing your results one way or the other... You and I could both be using the same product on the same plastic but if you live in (say)Texas and I live in British Columbia we may not get the same results.

I've had some pretty good success with Fusion. The only thing I've painted that it hasn't stuck to are the slick finish plastics like the tail fins on the 25th X-30.

Like an idiot I used Fusion on a MU cape...wow...worst idea...ever. So yeah, keep it on hard plastics, and you'll be okay...

I used a can of white fusion on a 90 Avalanche body. The paint NEVER DRIED (and we're talking after months as KrymsynGardImmoral can testify to) and the paint turned a light mustard color.
So yeah, my experience with Fusion is a big bag of fail. |
