Does anybody else have the problem with the Joes' heads becoming loose after you put them back together? If so is there a way to remedy it?

Best way to fix a loose head is to coat the neck peg with petroleum jelly, then use hot glue inside of the head hole. Attach the head to the neck peg and let the hot glue harden (don't worry if extra oozes out, this can be trimmed off later). After the glue hardens (about 5-10 minutes), remove the head and clean off the petroleum jelly. The head can then be reattached and will still be able to move and not be loose.

If your putting the head on the same fig you took it off of you can coat either the neck ball or the indent in the head sculpt with super glue. let it dry fully before popping it back on

I've had this happen too, when u remove the head a few times, it sometimes widens the neck hole. So just drop the head in hot water (I microwave the water for 1-2 minutes), let the head sit for about 30 seconds and it gets the hole back to the original size. I also have had succes with other body parts too using this method.

Clear coat nail polish on the ball joint works with everything "loose" related in Hasbro products.
Or Museum wax is less invasive but doesn't hold as well.

Anytime I have a head or other similar type connection body part - I usually fill the hole w/ Sculpey, press it onto the post/ball - then trim any excess away - I then have a small ceramic heater (used for softening up my parts) & a short metal stand placed in front of the heater... part is placed on the stand (Sculpey side to the heat) w/ the heater on full blast... bake it for about 10-15 minutes... then once it's cooled it should fit snugly... hope this helps!

Instead making a new thread I’ll post here. I just got the SDCC ROC Destro set and the masked head isn’t just loose, it won’t hold at all. I’m not terribly enthused with using hot glue on this so in the interim has anyone discovered any other ideas or suggestions?
Thank you |

Small piece of plastic wrap or tape over the head ball usually works to keep the head still.
