This is really sweet, but too rich for my blood.
http://cgi.ebay.com/gijoe-25th-Ann-C...QQcmdZViewItem Cool idea... Maybe, if they still have them at TRU, I'll pick one up. I believe it's the same as the one's I've seen there... |

Thats lame, that is only $20 at the most. I see that every time im there and think about making a custom tomahawk. All he did was add a cobra sticker and an addition $50 to the price tag

So, let me get this straight. Your saying that this is "lame" because the guy customized a vehicle, and put it up for sale and someone paid $100 for it in a free market auction?
I'm pretty damn sure it's not for you to say what something is worth, when your not involved in the transaction at all. Custom items are worth what the market will bear, no more and no less. Good customs sell for more, crap customs sell for less. If you think you can do better, paint one up, throw it on auction and show us what "lame" isn't, otherwise you might want to reconsider calling someone else's work "lame" and implying that it's worthless. |

I agree with Alyosha, it is not your place to tell someone that he or she can not sell a custom no matter how easy it might be to make. It is a free market and if someone wants to pay 100 bucks for something, that is their choice. Do not hate

the guy started the price out at what he probably paid for the base item ($19.99). he was just trying to re-coop that amount. custom items on eBay are a whole different ballgame than just buying at retail and putting it on eBay (whatever your thoughts are on that is irrelevant). it is, in a sense, like buying art. whatever someone wants to pay for someone's time, effort and talent is up to them. if it sells for $100 or $1000, so be it.
