Is it possible to unscrew the torso to fix stuff like this in the future?

I wouldn't put it in the microwave, the plastic will burn. maybe put it in a metal pan over a flame and swoosh it around so the plastic dosn't stay in one place

Just opened my Copperhead/Shipwreck pack two minutes ago. I took Copperhead out of the plastic bubble, straightened his leg, and then his lower leg fell off in my hand. Looks like the lower leg plastic ring broke into two pieces.

I feel your pain man. That same thing happened to me but I fixed it using Krazy Glue. Just put a tiny bit of glue on both sides of the broken ring, press them firmly for 15 to 30 seconds and voila! you have a completely functional Cooperhead figure. I will post pics of that a little bit later.

So how do you fix it when that happens to the elbow joint? I had this happen with a Lady Jaye. The ring seemed broken (I didn't see any parts come off but the ring was missing a section) and the area where the ring went around had excess plastic so that the ring couldn't move anyway.

And I appreciate the hand. It worked out just right.
I'll need to try that superglue trick on the crazy leg Gung Ho. I've also noticed that alot of the figures come out of the package with loose hip joints. Makes them difficult to display as they want to sway one way or the other. |

To crack them open.. get a plastic mallet (Cost about $7) a 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" or even a 2" x 2" oak block. Shave one corner down flat as to leave a corner point sticking up.
Upper torso seperation: Lift up the arm on one side and lay it on the point sticking up on the block, lightly tap the shoulder area of the side facing up and listen for it to crack. Flip figure over and repeat process on the other side. Lower Torso: Put block on it's side so that it is now flat. Turn the upper torso sideways where the arms are up and down. (If you haven't already removed the upper torso) lightly tap the lower torso (you will hear it crack loose) you may need to turn it to the other side to make sure both sides have come apart. Lower arm/hand/feet/head removal: After seperating the torso put upper torso with head, hands and lower legs in a cup with water. Microwave for about 1 1/2 min. (Make sure not to overboil water.. could damage the plastic) Use tongs or other grabbing device to remove one part at a time. Plastic should be soft enough to pull the lower arm/hands/feet and head out without breakage. Hope that helps some.
