Hey guys, say what you will about the new POC VAMP, I thought it had a lot of potential. Especially after a wheel change... And a color change... and anyway... I really liked the way it turned out after the change. What do y'all think? I did the John Deere wheel mod, dremeled out the gas tank holders so that they wouldn't rub the paint and added magnets to the gas tanks to hold them in and added the gun from one of the 6" terminator figs. I wasn't really impressed with the main gun it came with.

Thanks for the replies. To change the wheels I started by cutting the axles on the John Deere tractors. removing the axle shafts from the wheels was a royal pain in the butt. I had to heat them up and knock them loose with a hammer. On the VAMP, I cut the plastic axle shafts off and then drilled holes through both sides. I picked up some threaded rod from the local hardware store, ran the rod through the axle assembly and screwed the wheels onto the VAMP. Easy right?

It sounds harder than it was. It only took about 15 minutes for the wheel change. Painting it and changing the main gun took a lot longer though. Anybody know if they make a brown flex rex?
