Growing up, my brother and I used to play G.I.Joe quite a bit. I am three years older than him, and so growing up, Lt. Falcon was always my favorite figure, the one who had to go on every mission and always lead my teams. My brother, on the other hand, being just a few years younger... well... grew up in a different era of G.I.Joe, I guess, and somehow it came to pass that neon-orange Mega Marines Clutch became his favorite figure and character.
My brother's birthday was this past week, and I've been meaning to do a custom Mega Marines Clutch for him for over a year now because I know that's something Hasbro will NEVER give anyone (perhaps rightfully so). I put a lot of work into this one, this custom is probably my proudest to date. It's his birthday present, so I hope that he will enjoy it. Feel free to comment, and any type of observations or criticisms are welcome! |

That's great...I don't think I've ever seen any modern Mega Marines customs. Good job in doing an update from an often overlooked era of Joe. That will make a great b-day gift, I'm sure.

I wish people still got me GI Joes for my birthday.
He looks great. You captured his hideous neon outfit perfectly. |
