i was just looking up this figure on yojoe to see how i could make him. i also thought of the stone torso and arms( either that or tunnel rat), plus the roc ss legs. the hat i have a wpk hat i cut off a head and hollwed out, it is perfect, just need to glue the side up, not sure on a head, yet. but i plan on using the roc baroness glasses. the roc heavy duty vest will work fine. i think i might go with the 2001 version, i like the colors better, well i would mix both versions, since the 90's is black, and the 01 is gray, so i would make it gray and black.
i have no clue when i will ever put him together, i'm just trying to look for parts and make a mock up. i can't tell from the pic, but what do the pegs look like? do you have any pics of the ammo belt unhooked? |

I was originally going to use the green boonie hat from Benchpress, and actually glued the brim up already, but ditched it for the SDS head when they unveiled it. I don't have pics without the pegs attached, but the 2001 figure is easiest to find on eBay. I think I paid like $7-10 shipped for mine. I cut the pegs from his waist, and just used the original pegs from everything else. As for the size of the pegs that the ammo clips attach to, they're roughly the same size (maybe slightly smaller?) as the typical Joe "black rubber hose" pegs on the vintage packs (if that helps any). |

If you're using these legs, make sure to use the Quick Kick legs if you can find him easily. Most of my TRUs are now stocked only with QK and Spirit. Painting white to all-black would be a bitch.
