So, in retrospect, I remember playing the old Operation without the use of sound effects to tell you which part to choose like the new game has. We played with cards that gave you a description of the part. With that in mind, I created a deck of cards to play with. Draw a card, get the part, earn some points. It's as simple as that. I've included an external PDF. I guess that completes the game in its entirety. Let me know what you think about the card descriptions/part names. Obviously, you may not have the same parts as I do, but I'm interested to hear what options I could have chosen and the humor I could have added. Anyway, I printed and cut them out. The only difference here is that these cards don't have backs. Mine have backs with the words in quotes written on them (words in quotes are the names I gave my parts), and I may make a card holder for the game sometime soon. *G*
http://www.keepandshare.com/doc/2600...6-pm-322k?da=y Apparently my PDF creator put a big image over two of my cards, but if you'd like them, just let me know. I wanted you to get the idea of what I did. The first covered card says "Central Processing Unit" and tells you to "Get to the heart of the problem." The second covered card says: Encrytion Equalizing Antenna Radio Receiver (EEARR). These are the BAT's ears, so to speak, and this card tells you to make sure he's not getting "mixed signals." Anyway, there you go. Last edited by Shipwrecked85; 02-15-2011 at 03:04 PM.. Reason: took out embed link to pdf |

Would have been awesome to have you as a teacher, bringing in my favorite toy as a tool for teaching!?! Pure fun and pure win!
