damn, wow.. if i ever buy a unpainted head, i think you're gonna be the dude painting the skin and eyes for me.. i can do the hair.. i don't understand skin tone so i never ventured into it, and the eyes seem a little tough and don't have brushes that small to do the thin black line..

I hate the boots as well. The figure can't stand for shit, you have to pose him just right. I used those legs because they matched nearly perfectly to the upper torso, although they're not ideal. You know me, I like to avoid painting base joints, although this figure is far from "low-paint" with that crazy camo... |

Paint brushes and toothpicks huh? Your seriously hardcore! I think I would have went to a hobby store and tried to find a super fine tip paint pen. Just damn awesome!

I use this exact brush: Testors - Model Master - No. 3/0 Red Sable Round Brush - 8842C I keep several on-hand once they start to get old so I can swap them out for a fresh one. You want a crisp tip on it. Once they fray, you can use them for other detailing, just not eyes and tiny camo lines. The brush is the expensive part. I just get run-of-the-mill toothpicks in the 300-500/per case boxes, and run the tip against the messy paint edges once it's dry and it cleans it up. If too much comes off, just repeat it. I don't use this for eyes, but on stuff like the camo it works great. The discarded/bent toothpicks work great for mixing small jars of paint too, so they can be reused. |

You know I dig it, Rex! Excellent job all the way around on him. Incredible job on all the brown lines! They're all solid and clean. That must have been extremely tedious and time consuming.
I like what you did for the net... I totally forgot doing a net cover for mine. Again, top-notch job! |

Awesome job!! I'm very impressed. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the boots but overall the fig is great!
