that Abe Lincoln custom is no match for my John Wilkes Booth custom!
on a side note, as a life-long resident of Ohio I once shook hands with the decedent of your William H. Taft custom. I wouldn't recommend you make him as an action figure. He was a crappy governor. and finally. I was named after my Mom's favorite president, Andrew Jackson (that would be the "A" in "azoric"). Last edited by azoric; 02-04-2011 at 12:24 AM.. |

Taft is Fat hahaha. Your Jackson custom I like needs to stand behind a 20 bill.

I was just watching that Star Trek episode where Kirk meets Abe Lincoln last night. This looks just like him.

Thanks guys! You made me feel a lot better about these. If you check out the full post in the contest page 36, I mentioned that these are basically my first customs ever, so I needed a few comments You all made my day!
And I like the $20 bill idea. Will do that when I get time. |

Anybody can put a head on E. Honda and call it Taft... that would be mildly amusing. NOT everyone can drive it home with the attention to detail you've put in these... the bathtub with "rescue" sticker is just brilliant. Natural creative talent A++

On the front of Jackson's train, am I nuts or is that an attachment to a hair clipper? Either way these are awesome.

Those are great! I made a Lincoln a while back but I don't think it was as cool. What did you make the hat with?

That is a hair clipper attachment on the front of the Train of Tears (which is, by the way, a play on the Trail of Tears, which Andrew Jackson took some part in).
The Lincoln hat actually uses the brim of a craft snowman hat that didn't fit. I dremeled it out a bit, and I used a sawed-off marker cap and sculpting for the rest. I just added the parts recipes to the original posts, but the info, background story, filecards, and more pics are in on page 36 and 37 of the Gyre/Weasel Dr. Relativity contest thread here: http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...ml#post2239326 Thank you guys for the awesome compliments.
