Hey Tankers, Weapon here back with some more customs. First up is Marvel Universe's Avenger and Wakandan Prince, T'Challa the Black Panther!
Well Hasbro gave us two underwhelming passes at the Panther, and I've been watching and loving Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and really wanted a Black Panther to add to my Avengers roster. My Panther is a pretty simple but effective (imo) custom. The base is the comic pack Cyclops from the Phoenix 2pack. The head, the forearms and the boots are all chopped off from the original series 1 Panther, added to Cyke, added a little paint and that was that. The result is a better scaled, better proportioned Panther that better embodies the strength and power of his simplistic design. Thanks for looking! |

I gave my MU BLACK PANTHER some JOE WEB GEAR...he actually looks pretty cool with it on...
I put some webgear on my MU CAPTAIN AMERICA, too...they look pretty bad ass with some special ops type gear on em for extra battle cool-ness. |

Thanks guys. I'm glad you like him.
MethaZord - I love the simple black suit as well. Over the years they've added those gold vibranium accents which I thought looked cool, but the stripped down all black version has always been my favorite look. And Avengers:EMH definitely played a part in choosing the look. MLos1 - I often put webgear on certain characters like Wolverine, Cap, Punisher and a few others. |
