snowed in today, wanted to see how the shock trooper head looked shaved down a little. meh- doesn't look as bobbly heady, not that great either. posting just in case anyone was curious as to how it would look.

I'd say it's an improvement. I don't mind the ST head when he has all his gear on. Has anyone tried other heads with this fig? I don't remember seeing any, but I could be wrong.

I think the problem is his shoulders are too skinny more than the head/neck is too long. Yours does look pretty darn good though.

shockblast or POC beachhead's head both work great BH head is a little more slim than the Shockblast head but both fit the neck nicely.

Or toss PoC Beachhead's head for a swap. And then take the Trooper head and put it on Beachhead! I was pleasantly pleased! The shock head on Beachhead works very well considering the collar is concealed by his LBV.

If you remove the gear you can figure out where the head was meant to sit(the sculptor did a good job but the joint guy fd it up.) Then you can thin out the lower collar from the inside making it very thin. replace the gear. Then dremel out the inside and do the hot glue trick to lower the head. you get little to no up and down articulation but I dont think you would have much of that in real life anyway with all of the helmet and crap on. Makes for a great looking soldier when its done.
